Composite

Composite resin is a light-cured restorative material made of a Bis-GMA or UDMA resin matrix loaded with silica, glass, or zirconia filler particles. The resin bonds to enamel and dentin through a dental adhesive and cures in 10 to 20 seconds under an LED curing light. Composite has replaced silver amalgam in most Indian general practices because of its tooth-matching shade range and direct adhesive bond to tooth structure.
