Scheu Duran and Duran+ (Plus) are hard-elastic, transparent PET-G thermoplastic materials, ensuring superior clarity and aesthetic results for dental applications. Duran+ comes with an integrated insulation foil, which guarantees an easy-to-clean, smooth inner surface post-molding.
Both materials are non-hygroscopic, meaning they do not require pre-drying, saving time and enhancing convenience during preparation and molding.
Duran+ is highly abrasion-resistant, nearly unbreakable, and offers excellent breaking resistance, elasticity, and form stability. It is clinically tested for biocompatibility according to ISO 10993 and EN ISO 7405 guidelines, ensuring safety for patient use.
Ideal for a variety of dental treatments, including periodontal splints, bite guards, retainer splints, invisible retainers, temporary crowns, bridges, fluoride splints, and bruxism splints (with or without adjustment). Duran+ is also perfect for orthodontic therapies like miniplast splints, tooth transposition, palatal expansion, and anti-snoring devices.
Duran+ features integrated insulation foil that enhances thermal efficiency during pressure molding. The material requires short heating times, reducing the overall molding process time.
