  2. For routine deep Class I and II protection under composite use an RMGIC base (Meta Biner LC) in 1–2 mm thickness over the calcium hydroxide.
  3. For sandwich technique under composite or amalgam pick a Type II GIC base (NeoEndo NeoCem Type 2, D-Tech Lute Plus).
  4. For surface protection of a freshly placed GIC restoration apply a cavity varnish (GC Fuji Varnish) or protective coating (D-Tech Lono Coat).
