It needs the correct soak time and handling, as these chemicals are strong; always follow the product's instructions.
Burs and small tools are often disinfected in a chemical solution or a dedicated bur sterilizer, then included in the autoclave cycle where suitable. Their size makes them easy to lose and hard to clean, so a holder or tray helps. Match the method to the bur material — some tolerate heat, others are better cold-processed.
