Handpieces, airotors and motors

This is the core of the range, and it runs from budget to premium.

• Air-driven airotors are the everyday high-speed handpiece for cutting and crown preparation, in LED and non-LED, push-button chuck versions. The titanium-bodied Waldent Tesla airotor is the flagship, with a quattro spray and four-hole connection.
• For controlled, torque-driven work — endodontics, implant surgery and slow-speed cutting — an electric micromotor replaces the air turbine, running a handpiece at a set speed and torque.

Digital imaging and dental chairs

Waldent covers digital impressions and the operatory itself.

The Waldent BLZ IntraVue 900 Ai intraoral scanner captures a fast, accurate 3D digital impression, with paediatric, adult and 90-degree tips. Alongside it sit wall-mount X-ray units and the Orion, Optimus and portable Eezee dental chairs — integrated electric units with light, suction and delivery.

Sterilisation and disposables

The infection-control and single-use side of a clinic day.

Sterilisation reels, self-seal pouches, a pouch-sealing machine and UV storage chambers package and hold instruments after the autoclave, and the single-use items sit in Waldent Disposable. Water distillers, oil-free compressors and ultrasonic cleaners cover the plant room.

An electric micromotor drives a handpiece at a set speed and constant torque, which suits endodontics, implant surgery and controlled slow-speed work. Many clinics keep both on the bracket table.

The BLZ IntraVue 900 Ai is Waldent's intraoral scanner. It captures a 3D digital impression of the arches directly in the mouth, replacing a conventional tray impression for crowns, aligners and other digital workflows. It comes with adult, paediatric and 90-degree scanning tips, and a matching trolley and connection cabling are stocked as accessories.

Which Waldent dental chair should I choose?

It depends on the setting. The Orion and Optimus ranges are integrated electric chairs with light, suction and delivery for a fixed clinic operatory.
